Upon arrival, a walking tour will guide you through the historic center, where you'll marvel at the impressive stately architecture, reflecting the wealth generated during the gold mining boom. Key highlights include the striking neoclassical Parish Church of Santa María de Guadalupe and the elegant Juárez Theatre, a fine example of art nouveau design.

Your exploration continues with a visit to an old mine shaft, providing insights into the mining techniques employed in the past as well as the associated hazards. Before leaving, you will visit a century-old draught and have the opportunity to engage in stone carving at a stonemasonry workshop.
