Day Trip to Huilo Huilo Reserve

Your adventure begins at 8 am with a departure from your accommodation in Pucón. Our route takes us alongside Lake Villarrica, before we make our way to the quaint village of Licán Ray. Here, we will pause for a moment to savor the views of Lake Calafquén.

Our next destination is the vibrant town of Panguipulli. We'll visit the picturesque church and the bustling main square, and enjoy sights of the remarkable glacial lake that shares the town's name.

Continuing our journey, we’ll delve deeper into the breathtaking Huilo Huilo Reserve, celebrated as one of the natural jewels of Chile's Los Lagos region. This captivating area showcases its signature rivers and waterfalls, all set against a backdrop of striking landscapes.

We will then visit two enchanting accommodations found within the reserve: the Hotel Nothofagus and the Montaña Mágica, which evoke the essence of a fantastical tale. The exploration continues in the area of Puerto Fuy, where you’ll have an hour of leisure to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, all while gazing at Lake Pirihueico and the majestic Mocho-Choshuenco volcano.

Post-lunch, our adventure continues with a visit to the Memorial Museum of Volcanoes. Surrounded by nature, the museum provides an opportunity to observe local wildlife, including deer and wild boars. We’ll conclude our day by returning to your hotel in Pucón, arriving around 8 pm.
