Osorno Volcano & Petrohue Waterfalls Day Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Varas at around 9 am and from there we'll head to the southern shore of Lake Llanquihue, where we'll discover the glacial origins of this second-largest lake in Chile. On the journey, we'll also find out about the German settlers that populated these lands in the second half of the 20th century.
Our next stop will be at the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park (entrance not included). In this protected environmental space, you'll see the famous Petrohue Waterfalls. These chute-type waterfalls have a water flow of up to 370 m3 per second and they're sure to impress!
The waterfalls flow into the Todos los Santos Lake, which will be our next stop. We'll walk along the lake's beaches to get a better look at the captivating natural surroundings. Next, we'll head to the town of Ensenada, where you'll have approximately one hour of free time to have lunch.
In the afternoon, we'll head to the Osorno Volcano ski station. Here, you'll get incredible panoramic views and you can even take the ski lift (not included) for an even more memorable experience.
