Puerto Williams & Navarino Island Bike Tour

We invite you to meet us at Centro Comercial 140B at 9 am. Once all participants have gathered, we will embark on our biking journey through Puerto Williams.

Our adventure begins as we traverse the iconic landmarks of this charming Patagonian destination on the northern shore of Navarino Island. This island is part of the Chilean section of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, offering stunning views of the southern shores of the Beagle Channel.

Throughout the bike ride, we will come across a segment of the Beagle Channel and make a stop at Punta Gusanos where we can observe the diverse migratory birds that inhabit this region.

The cycling journey will wrap up either at the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or the Micalvi Yacht Club, depending on weather conditions. Following this, we will journey westward along scenic pathways that meander through the interior of Navarino Island. During this segment, we will delve into the history of the Beagle conflict and the cultural traces left by the Fuegian Yaganes Indigenous community.

This portion of our exploration will take us approximately 4 miles (7 kilometers) from Puerto Williams, culminating at Los Bronces Bridge. Upon arrival, a brief walk will lead us to the enchanting waterfall sharing its name. We will enjoy a local snack and craft beer here to recharge before cycling back to the bridge and returning to our starting point.

The tour will conclude by 1 pm back in Puerto Williams.
