Excursion to Corda, Coculi & Figueiral de Cima

At 9 am, we will collect you from your accommodation in Ribeira Grande. Our adventure begins with a minibus ride to Corda, a quaint settlement situated in the interior region of Santo Antão Island.

Upon arrival, prepare to be amazed by the stunning vistas from this small village nestled within the renowned Cova Natural Park. You'll also witness the remarkable outline of the volcanic crater known as Cova de Paul, surrounded by rich vegetation.

For an immersive experience, we will embark on a three-hour hiking excursion, navigating through dirt trails and agricultural terraces while observing the local crops. This trek promises to be unforgettable!

After our hike, we will return to the minibus and journey to Figueiral de Cima and Terrinha Vermelha, two of the most secluded villages in Santo Antão. As we admire the lush green valleys and the traditional houses characteristic of this Cape Verdean island, we will continue to the unique settlement of Coculi.

In Coculi, we will explore the banks of the Ribeira Grande River and uncover the intriguing stories of this town. We will conclude our excursion, arriving back at your hotel in Ribeira Grande around 1 pm.
