Day 1

Your journey begins with a hotel pickup in Siem Reap, followed by a visit to Angkor Thom. Entering through the south gate, you'll experience the stunning Khmer architecture before arriving at the impressive Bayon Temple at the heart of the ancient city, along with the three-tiered temple of Baphuon and its colossal Buddha statue.

Next, we will head to Ta Prohm, a temple uniquely entwined with nature over centuries. Witness how the jungle's roots and branches envelop its ruins, creating a captivating landscape, including a site familiar to those who have seen Tomb Raider.

After this enchanting visit, take a break for lunch before the afternoon adventure.

Post-lunch, we'll proceed to Angkor Wat, the monumental religious site that has remained a place of worship since the 12th century. Observe Buddhist monks meditating amidst its hallowed grounds.

The first day concludes with a drop-off back at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 2

Your second day starts with a pickup from your hotel to visit Banteay Srei, known as the "Citadel of Women." Built in the 10th century, this red sandstone temple showcases intricate reliefs still visible today, earning it the title of a "jewel of Khmer art."

After appreciating Banteay Srei, we will travel to Beng Mealea, approximately an hour away. Here, explore the ruins overtaken by jungle roots, followed by a visit to a 12th-century stone quarry.

We'll break for lunch at a local restaurant before engaging in a hands-on experience learning to prepare bamboo rice, a traditional Cambodian dish, before returning to your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 3

On the third day, your hotel pickup will be at 2 pm for a journey to the port, where a boat will be ready to take you to the floating village of Kampong Phluk. Along the journey, enjoy breathtaking views over Lake Tonlé Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.

Upon arrival at Kampong Phluk, explore the houses, school, and temple built on bamboo stilts, and learn about the local way of life in this unique environment. Our boat will continue to cruise through the flooded forest and visit a crocodile farm.

As your three days of unforgettable exploration of the Angkor temples come to a close, you will be dropped off back at your hotel in Siem Reap by 6 pm.

How it Works?

You will enjoy a fully guided tour, with hotel pickups for each day. This includes all entry fees to the temples and a local lunch on Day 2. Note that drinks during meals and any personal expenses are not included. The meeting point for the tour is the lobby of your hotel in Siem Reap. Be prepared for a mix of walking and transportation to cover the sites effectively.
