Our journey begins at 7 am, departing from your hotel and heading south along the coastal road.

After approximately 1.5 hours of travel, we will arrive in Anchieta. This city is named in honor of José de Anchieta, a significant figure in Brazilian history. You will learn about this Spanish priest, originally from Tenerife, who came to Brazil in 1553 to assist in evangelizing Native Americans. His deep connection with the locals led him to master their language and stand against the injustices inflicted by colonizers.

We will further explore the legacy of this religious figure by visiting the National Sanctuary of San José de Anchieta, which includes the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and a former Jesuit residence established in 1579. As you will see, this is a site that generates profound devotion among the local Catholic community.

Next, we will proceed to the Iriri region, where you will have 2 hours of free time to discover the captivating beaches of Costa Azul and Areia Preta, both renowned for their clear waters. This is the perfect opportunity to sunbathe, snorkel, swim, and enjoy a refreshing drink at one of the beachside restaurants.

Finally, we will make our way back from Iriri, with an expected return to your hotel by 2 pm.
