Villa Rica Coffee Experience

The journey begins at 9 am on Leopoldo Krausse Avenue, as we set off to explore the vibrant coffee traditions of Villa Rica. This charming city is renowned as one of the leading coffee cultivators in Peru.

Our first stop is the main square, where you'll learn about the significance of coffee production in Villa Rica's history. Subsequently, we will visit a local coffee plantation to observe the intricate process behind crafting this beloved drink. Here, you will also partake in a tasting session of authentic Villa Rica coffee.

After exploring the plantation, we proceed to the Oconal Lagoon, an area celebrated for its diverse ecosystem, allowing you free time to wander and take in the natural beauty. Enjoy boat rides on the lagoon and discover the significance of the lotus flower, a hallmark of this beautiful locale.

Once we’ve recharged, we will gather for a traditional meal featuring smoked meat, complemented by a refreshing natural fruit drink. A true culinary delight!

With newfound energy, we will resume our exploration, passing by the mesmerizing León Waterfall and making our way to the Cumbre viewpoint. Our next stop is the Los Ositos orchid farm, where you'll be captivated by its stunning floral displays, followed by a visit to a coffee quality control lab.

This informative session will cover the various coffee types along with the verification processes, ending with another delightful coffee tasting. You will gain insight into evaluating coffee through its aroma and distinct flavors.

Concluding our enriching experience, we will return to our starting location in Villa Rica, expected to arrive around 3 pm.
