Free Walking Tour of Warsaw
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Copernicus Monument at the selected time and start a free tour around the historical centre of Warsaw. First, we'll visit the residence of the former kings of Poland.
Then we'll stroll through the market square looking at the colourful houses of Warsaw's Old Town. This part of the city had to be rebuilt after the Second World War due to the destruction caused by the Nazis.
During the tour, we'll discover the history of Warsaw and the main personalities who influenced its development, such as King Sigismund III. This monarch moved the national capital from Krakow in the 16th century.
The guide will take you to admire the imposing Warsaw Barbican and the medieval city walls. The visit to the historical centre will allow us to meet some of the most famous Polish personalities while strolling through the streets where Marie Curie or Frédéric Chopin were born.
Finally, after a 2.5-hour tour, we'll end our free tour at the Warsaw Rising Monument or near the Warsaw Barbican.
How Does It Work?
You will join a guided walking tour through Warsaw's historic center led by a knowledgeable guide. The meeting point is at the Copernicus Monument, where you will be welcomed and briefed before the tour commencement. The tour spans approximately 2.5 hours, showcasing significant landmarks from the Royal Castle to the Warsaw Barbican. It is structured to highlight the history and cultural impact of key figures in Warsaw's past.

Important information
The meeting point is the Nicolas Copernicus Monument, located at Krakowskie Przedmieście, 2, 00-333 Warszawa, Poland. Our guides identify themselves with yellow umbrellas. You should arrive at least 10 minutes in advance to start the tour on time.
