We will convene at Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 114 at the scheduled time to commence this thrilling bike tour of Amsterdam. Are you prepared to hit the pedals?
Our journey begins at Amsterdam Centraal Station, which opened its doors in 1889, designed by Dutch architect Pierre Cuypers. This is the largest railway station in Amsterdam, and it’s a crucial hub for all visitors!
No visit to Amsterdam is complete without checking out its iconic windmills. During this tour, we will visit Gooyer's Windmill, one of the most famous still standing. We will delve into its fascinating history as we cycle past.
Next, we will ride around the perimeter of ARTIS Zoo, the oldest zoo in the Netherlands. Keep your eyes peeled for any animals we might see during our ride!
We'll then cycle across Magere Brug, known for its beauty, and head towards Museumplein Square, which hosts several of Amsterdam’s premier museums. Continuing our ride, we will pass through Vondelpark, the city's most frequented park with stunning scenery!
Lastly, we will arrive in Jordaan, a charming neighborhood filled with picturesque bridges—it’s a destination not to be missed!
After approximately 2.5 hours, our bike tour of Amsterdam will conclude in the delightful Jordaan area.
