Day Trip Overview
At the appointed time, we’ll gather at one of the convenient meeting locations and begin our bus journey towards the Great Wall of China, with a special focus on the Mutianyu section. Prepare for a remarkable day ahead!
During our trip, we will share fascinating stories about this iconic edifice, which has origins dating back to the 5th century. The ride will take approximately an hour and a half, providing a cozy travel experience to one of the globe’s most celebrated sites, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Once we arrive, we’ll bypass the long queues and enter the site, allowing you ample time for self-guided exploration of Mutianyu—distinguished for its breathtaking views and relatively lower visitor numbers.
Opt for a challenging 6-km (3.7 mi) trek to reach one of the wall’s highest towers, or choose to purchase a cable car ticket on-site to savor the picturesque landscape from above. Regardless of your choice of ascent, the day promises unforgettable experiences.
After your adventure on the wall, we’ll reconvene at the bus for our return trip to Beijing, concluding at Dongzhimen Subway Station. The entire duration of the excursion varies between 6 and 8.5 hours, depending on your chosen options.

Please be aware that the duration of this day trip will vary based on your selected time during the booking process:
- Morning Day Trip: You will enjoy 5 hours of leisure time at the Great Wall, with the total trip lasting 8.5 hours.
- Afternoon Day Trip: You will experience 2.5 hours at the Great Wall, and the total duration of your day trip will be 6 hours.

Important information
On the day of the activity, the local tour operator will meet you at Exit B1 of Dongzhimen Station. To get here, take line 2 or 13 of the metro to Dongzhimen Station. Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
Your guide will be wearing a red Mubus jacket.
Important
- Don't forget to bring your passport on the tour.
- We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and clothes.
- Cable car tickets are not included and can be purchased on the bus. On the west side of the Wall, you can take the cable car for 100CNY one way or 140CNY round trip. On the other side, prices are the same, but you go up by chairlift and can come down either by chairlift or on the toboggan slide. During the bus ride, your guide will explain how to visit the Great Wall.
