Tour Overview
Our journey commences in the heart of Catania, where we will board an off-road vehicle and set off towards Mount Etna, leaving the urban hustle behind. Are you ready to explore one of the most renowned volcanoes globally?
As we ascend the majestic slopes of Mount Etna, your guide will provide insights into the historical and ecological significance of this natural park, recognized as a World Heritage Site. Remarkably, references to this volcano can be found in classical writings that date back over 2700 years!
This exhilarating off-road experience will interweave journeys by vehicle with short hikes, allowing you to fully appreciate the stunning scenery. You'll get the opportunity to observe the local flora and fauna while gaining knowledge about the fertility of Etna's land for agriculture.
Our path will guide you through ancient woodlands, unveil caves formed from solidified lava, and lead you near inactive craters. Also, we will visit Bove Valley, where a charming local shop awaits, inviting you to sample typical products from Sicily. Delicious!
After a delightful 5.5 hours, we will return to our initial meeting point in Catania.

Would you like to enhance your experience? Opt for the off-road tour with lunch, where you can savor the exquisite Sicilian flavors. This option includes a stop at a local eatery, where you will enjoy a menu featuring a starter, a main dish, and a cannoli for dessert. Additionally, beverages such as soft drinks, water, wine, coffee, and a liqueur will be provided.
Important Information
Kindly note that the off-road excursion will take place on paved roads as access to the dirt paths that traverse the volcano is prohibited for vehicles. Depending on the weather conditions, the tour may be conducted in a minivan.
Minimum Group Requirement
In the low season, from November through March, a minimum of 2 participants is necessary to secure a booking.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at Piazza dei Martiri, 19, in Catania. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, completion of the tour by off-road vehicle cannot be guaranteed. If necessary, an alternative vehicle will be used to ensure the tour's completion.
It's very important to wear closed shoes or trainers. Without this type of footwear, you may not be allowed to participate and won't be able to request a refund.
