Morelia Exploration
Our meeting point will be at the scheduled time on Avenida Francisco I. Madero, where your guided exploration of Morelia will commence. Are you ready? Let’s set off!
Initially, we will stroll through the city's historic core, taking in various Baroque-style buildings crafted from pink stone, including the iconic Metropolitan Cathedral of Morelia, which stands as a symbol of the city.
Your journey will continue as we delve deeper into Morelia's rich history and culture, admiring key examples of its colonial architecture such as the Cathedral, the University of Morelia, the historic Jesuit School, the Plaza de Armas, and the Palacio de Justicia.
Next, we will pause at a historical edifice from 1743, featuring beautiful pink stone arches: the Conservatory of Las Rosas, recognized as the first conservatory in America.
