Canyoning Adventure in Madeira

On the day of your adventure, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Madeira before heading north towards the Ribeira das Cales in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. After about an hour, we will equip you with all the necessary gear and conduct a safety briefing led by our experienced English-speaking instructors, setting the stage for your exciting journey in this stunning natural landscape.

Throughout the tour, lasting between 2 to 3 hours, you will encounter various challenges, such as small waterfalls, rocky terrains, steep descents, and natural slides. Participants will need to swim and utilize ropes to navigate the canyons and cliffs, making this a truly extraordinary experience!

After approximately 6 hours of adventure, we will return you to your hotel, concluding our time together.

Select Your Canyoning Difficulty

When reserving your spot, you'll have the option to choose a difficulty level for the tour based on your skill set:

• Beginners' route: perfect for those new to canyoning, this route is beginner-friendly and offers continuous support from an instructor. It’s suitable for all ages and does not require prior experience.
• Intermediate route: for those with some experience, this more demanding path includes various challenging obstacles that will test your physical strength and endurance.

Necessary Equipment

We will provide wetsuits, neoprene footwear, harnesses, helmets, ropes, and all essential canyoning gear. We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, a swimsuit, and an extra pair of shoes.

Essential Information

It’s important to note that you must be able to swim to take part in this activity.

Pickup Details

This tour offers pickup from hotels located in Funchal, Caniço, and Garajau. If you are residing outside these specified areas, we will reach out to you post-booking to establish an alternative meeting location.
