Stromboli & Panarea Day Trip

Embark on a journey across the Tyrrhenian Sea to discover the enchanting islands of Stromboli and Panarea with this unique excursion departing from Lipari. Prepare for stunning coastal views, idyllic coves, and the captivating sights of volcanic activity!

Day Trip Details

Gather at Piazza di Marina Corta 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure, where we will board a boat for our adventure across the Tyrrhenian Sea. As we depart from Lipari, our destination will be Panarea, renowned as the second smallest island within the Aeolian volcanic archipelago.

Upon arrival in Panarea, you will enjoy two hours of leisure time to explore this picturesque island. We suggest embarking on a hiking trail to reach Cala Junco, celebrated for its stunning beach and crystal-clear waters. Here, you can also discover the remnants of an ancient settlement dating back to 1400 BC!

After our time in Panarea, we will reconvene at the port and set sail towards Stromboli. If the weather allows, we will pause midway to give you the chance to refresh in the open sea.

As we approach Stromboli, prepare to be awed by the island's striking volcanic landscapes and activity from the boat. At sunset, we will begin our return journey to Lipari, where you can witness the enchanting spectacle of lava cascading down the slopes of Stromboli.

The excursion will conclude with our return to the starting point, approximately eight to nine hours after our departure from Lipari.

Important Info

In the event that Stromboli is classified as a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert and disembarking is not permitted, we will modify the itinerary to prioritize your safety. This will involve a longer stop in Panarea followed by a scenic boat tour around Stromboli. During this segment, you will have the opportunity to admire the majestic Strombolicchio and the dramatic Sciara del Fuoco.
