Montreux Tour + Chaplin's World

On the day of our journey, we will gather at Rte de Berne 10 at the designated time to commence our travel towards the periphery of Montreux.

Following the scenic route along the shores of Lake Geneva, adjacent to the famed Swiss Riviera, we will arrive in Corsier-sur-Vevey. This charming village in the canton of Vaud houses Chaplin's World, an extensive museum dedicated to the legendary actor. Here, we will immerse ourselves in the fascinating exhibits before proceeding to our next stop.

As we continue our Montreux exploration, we will traverse the picturesque Lavaux region, recognized for its remarkable terraced vineyards, which are classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After admiring the captivating landscapes, we will make our way to the Château de Chillon. This ancient fortress perched on the banks of Lake Geneva has served as inspiration for numerous poets, including Lord Byron.

Next, we will journey to the heart of Montreux, where you will enjoy a two-hour break to grab lunch and wander through the historic town. One of the highlights is the famous statue of Freddie Mercury, located by Lake Geneva, which is known to be one of the most photographed landmarks in Switzerland.

Ultimately, we will return to our departure point in Lausanne, expected to arrive between 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm.

Guide

The tour will be conducted in English. In groups of fewer than 10 participants, a driver will accompany you, providing insights about the visited locations. For groups exceeding 10 individuals, a guide will join the tour for a more enriching experience.
