At the agreed time, we will meet you at your accommodation in Lima and begin our journey to Miraflores, the initial highlight of our exclusive walking tour.

In this charming district, you will have the opportunity to explore a local market, discovering the ingredients fundamental to Peruvian gastronomy. Prepare to taste some extraordinary local dishes!

After experiencing Miraflores, we will transition to the historic center of the capital via taxi or public transportation, as per your preference. The public bus fare is approximately 2PEN to 3PEN, whereas a taxi or Uber ride will cost around 20PEN to 35PEN. With the guide providing insights along the way, we will delve into the recent history of Peru, visiting the Exhibition Park, the Palace of Justice, and San Martín Square.

A short walk from there, we will encounter the iconic Plaza de Armas, a landmark in Lima. This expansive square is surrounded by significant architectural structures, including the Municipal Palace of Lima and the stunning Metropolitan Cathedral of Lima, showcasing a blend of Gothic and Baroque design.

Next, we will visit the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, where the catacombs were uncovered in 1943. Following this, we will proceed to Barranco, noted for its bohemian atmosphere. Quaint streets, Art Deco architecture, vibrant façades, and the renowned Bridge of Sighs characterize this artistic neighborhood. You'll also learn about the celebrated artists who have called Barranco home.

To conclude, we’ll return you to your hotel or another location of your choice within the city.

During the reservation process, you may select from various options tailored to your preferred duration and whether you desire a walking or scenic experience. If you opt for the scenic version, you will view the monuments from the vehicle without disembarking to explore further.

Note that all options include pick-up from your hotel in Lima, but the return will be via public transport with the guide. Below are the specifics for each choice:

• 3-Hour Walking Tour: for this option, you’ll choose between two itineraries: the historical Lima tour or the modern Lima tour. The historical tour includes visits to San Martín Square, Union Street, Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral of Lima, the Government Palace, the Convent of San Francisco, and the Park of the Wall. The modern tour showcases a local market, John F. Kennedy Park in Miraflores, Larcomar, and the Bridge of Sighs.
• 3-Hour Scenic Tour: here, we will follow the described scenic itinerary.
• 6-Hour Tour: this walking tour encompasses the itinerary mentioned, plus opportunities to visit other noteworthy sites in Lima, such as the Larco Museum or the Convent of Santo Domingo.
• 6-Hour Scenic Tour: this option will also allow for a scenic tour with a visit to either the Larco Museum or the Convent of Santo Domingo.
• 9-Hour Tour: this walking tour will follow the previously outlined itinerary while allowing time to explore additional captivating areas of the Peruvian capital.
• 9-Hour Scenic Tour: similarly, this scenic tour will include an exploration of the aforementioned itinerary, along with other interesting regions of Lima.
