Starting at 10 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Morelia and proceed to the nature reserve of Los Filtros Viejos, located just outside the city limits, where the adventure awaits.

Once we arrive, our journey kicks off with a hiking expedition that lasts two to three hours. During the trek, you'll have the opportunity to spot some of the 102 bird species that call this reserve home, including the striking harlequin quail, the elegant fruiteater, and the acorn woodpecker.

As we explore, we'll also discover a variety of local flora, such as the American cedar and the vibrant flame coral tree, which is categorized within the legume family. You’ll learn fascinating insights about these native plants while taking in the stunning sights of a waterfall enveloped by rich vegetation and the remnants of the historic Morelia aqueduct.

Following our hike, we'll visit a rocky area to engage in abseiling. Here, you'll descend an 8-meter vertical wall, allowing you to put your climbing abilities and strength to the test – an experience that will surely be memorable!

Afterward, there will be some free time to grab a bite and recharge. We'll conclude our day by boarding the minibus and returning to your hotel in Morelia by 6 pm.
