The Museum of Illusions: Magic Bavaria

Nestled within the MONA shopping center, Magic Bavaria transcends the typical museum experience. Spanning over 1,000 m² (10,763 sq ft), this space seamlessly merges Bavarian heritage with the craft of illusion. Through a set of 30 interactive photo zones, visitors are invited to enjoy experiences that challenge both gravity and reason.

As you navigate through the museum, iconic landmarks of the region will be revealed in innovative ways: try balancing on a huge pretzel reminiscent of Oktoberfest or jump into Munich’s largest ball pit, evoking the sensation of being in a cool Alpine lake. Don’t overlook the fascinating Crystal Mirror Room, a mesmerizing maze of mirrors that distorts your perception of space.

Your visit typically lasts around 1 to 1.5 hours, although you are welcome to linger as long as needed for that perfect snapshot.
