Reindeer Sleigh Ride

We will convene at the agreed time at your chosen hotel or central Rovaniemi meeting point, which you selected when booking. After gathering, our journey will take us to a reindeer farm, where local herders skillfully nurture and train these unique polar creatures, the only deer suited for domestication.

As we explore the farm, the caretakers will share insights into the daily operations of a reindeer farm and intriguing facts about these beloved animals who assist Santa. For instance, did you know that some herds can number over a hundred individuals?

Once we’ve familiarized ourselves with these enchanting creatures, we will embark on a sleigh ride through the enchanting snowy woodlands surrounding the farm, relishing the sight of glimmering white trails and icy trees, setting a magical scene for our experience. This thrilling 40-minute journey allows us to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking environment.

Upon completing the ride, enjoy a traditional warm beverage and snack typical of this Finnish region while continuing to bond with our four-legged companions.

To conclude our adventure, we will transport you back to your original meeting point in Rovaniemi, wrapping up this memorable tour after approximately 2.5 to 3 hours together.

During the booking phase, you will have access to a drop-down list of various hotels and central locations in Rovaniemi for pickup options.

If you are not residing in Rovaniemi or are situated far from the city center, we'll arrange to meet you at the following specified meeting point at the designated time:

9:30 am and 2:30 pm tours: pickup at Rovakatu 19b
3 pm tours: pickup at Korkalonkatu 36.
