Pacuare River Rafting Experience

Our journey begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in San José, as we make our way to the renowned Pacuare River, located in one of the most scenic areas for rafting in the country. During the excursion, prepare to be surrounded by stunning views featuring cascading waterfalls, rugged rapids, and lush trails, all teeming with a rich variety of wildlife.

Initially, we will conduct a safety briefing to ensure everyone is well-equipped for the adventure ahead. Following this, we will plunge into the waters for an exhilarating 5-mile (8 km) rafting route, navigating some of the finest rapids Costa Rica has to offer. Are you ready for a thrilling surge of excitement?

Upon reaching the Pacuare Valley, we will continue with another 5-mile exploration that allows us to appreciate the area’s unique flora and fauna up close. With some luck, you may spot white-faced monkeys, sloths, squirrels, hummingbirds, and toucans during this leg of our journey!

As our adventurous day concludes, we will replenish our energy with a delightful traditional meal from Costa Rica. The menu includes essentials such as rice, beans, salad, along with a choice of chicken, fish, or pork, picadillo, plantains, and refreshing juice. If you have dietary preferences, vegetarian or gluten-free options can be arranged at the time of your booking.

Your day ends with a return transfer to your hotel in San José.
