Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from a designated meeting point in Bilbao. From there, we'll embark on a bus ride to a scenic viewpoint, where the zigzagging bridge leading to the island comes into view. Upon arrival, you'll have 2 hours to explore the stone path that consists of 241 steps, connecting the mainland to the summit of the island.

As we ascend towards the stunning hermitage, recognized from the popular series Game of Thrones, prepare to be awed by the sights. At the peak, you will find the chapel dedicated to John the Baptist, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Next, our journey continues to the charming seaside village of Bermeo. Here, we’ll meander through the quaint, narrow lanes and delve into the town's rich maritime heritage.

Before concluding our excursion, we'll visit Guernica, famously immortalized by Pablo Picasso’s artwork. We'll learn about the significant historical events that unfolded during the Civil War while we explore the Casa de Juntas, one of the few structures to survive those tumultuous times.

Finally, we'll return you to the original meeting point in Bilbao.
