Day Excursion Overview

Upon collecting you from the designated meeting spot in Bilbao, we will embark on a bus journey towards a scenic viewpoint overlooking the serpentine bridge that leads to the island. Once we arrive, you will have 2 hours to traverse the stone path comprising 241 steps, connecting the mainland with the island's summit.

We will gradually climb to the stunning hermitage, familiar to fans of the acclaimed series Game of Thrones. Upon reaching the summit, where the chapel dedicated to John the Baptist resides, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic views that define this locale.

Subsequently, we will proceed to the charming town of Bermeo. Here, you can wander through its quaint, narrow streets and immerse yourself in its rich maritime heritage.

Before concluding our journey, we will visit Guernica, a town celebrated thanks to the artwork of Pablo Picasso. You will gain insights into the significant historical events during the Civil War as we explore the Casa de Juntas, one of the few structures that endured through the turmoil.

At the end of the tour, we will return you to the original meeting point in Bilbao.
