Boat Trip to Water Cay

On this boat trip from Utila, we sail to the small island of Water Cay, one of the hidden gems of the Honduran Caribbean. Swimsuit ready?

Activity Details

After meeting at the specified time in front of the Caribbean Dreams apartments, we'll board a boat to Water Cay, an almost untouched corner of the Honduran Caribbean. All aboard!

The journey to this small island lasts about 30 minutes, but during this short crossing, the sea views will help us forget our daily routine. Beautiful landscapes adorned with islets full of palm trees will greet us on both sides.

On board, you'll find a portable cooler to keep your drinks cold; however, you'll need to cover the cost of the ice. Upon arrival at Water Cay, you’ll be met by a dreamy beach with stunning white sand.

We'll stay for approximately 3 hours, during which you can swim, sunbathe, and explore the jungle. Please remember that there are no restaurants or beach bars on Water Cay, so bring your own food if you get hungry.

If you have your snorkelling goggles, you can admire the underwater landscapes along the coral reef of Water Cay, showcasing the vibrant marine life of the islet!

Finally, we will regroup to return to the boat and sail back to Utila, concluding a delightful 4-hour experience.

HOW IT WORKS?

We'll meet at the Caribbean Dreams apartments to commence the journey. After boarding, the boat ride to Water Cay takes about 30 minutes. During our stay on the island, you'll enjoy around 3 hours of leisure time to swim, sunbathe, and explore.
