Half-Day Tour (5 Hours)

Upon arrival at the planned time, we will convene at Vigla Hotel located in Tholaria, ready to begin our island adventure. Are you eager to explore Amorgos?

Our journey kicks off in Egiali, leading us to the striking Panagia Hozoviotissa Monastery, an extraordinary structure nestled within the cliffs. After ascending its stairway, the welcoming monks will greet us with a taste of their hospitality, serving traditional raki and loukoumi, local delicacies that simply cannot be missed.

Next, we'll proceed to the picturesque Agia Anna bay, where you can take advantage of the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the beach featured in the film The Big Blue.

Continuing our exploration, we will reach Chora. Here, we will discover the essence of the island, wandering through the village and visiting significant attractions such as the windmills, Loza Square, and the impressive exterior of the historic castle.

To conclude the morning, we will visit a traditional taverna in Chora, offering you free time to indulge in a delicious meal before we head back to our original meeting point.

Full-Day Tour (7.5 Hours)

Our adventure begins with a pickup at the Vigla Hotel in Tholaria, from where we will depart, leaving behind the scenic white houses with blue window frames and embark on a minibus journey to the breathtaking Aegiali Bay. Our first stop will be at the historical Church of Agios Giorgios Valsamitis, situated where an ancient Greek oracle once thrived.

Continuing south, a brief pause at a local café will provide a chance to refresh with a drink. Following this, we'll visit the village of Arkesini, home to the UNESCO-designated Church of Agia Triada, which is impressively built upon a fortress.

Next on our itinerary is the magnificent Hozoviotissa Monastery, among Greece's oldest, dramatically perched on a cliff 300 meters above the sea. Here, the monks honor this architectural marvel with traditional offerings of raki and loukoumi.

Our excursion proceeds to Chora, the island's capital. Strolling through its charming cobblestone lanes and residential structures adorned with colorful wooden details will be a delight.

As our tour comes to a close, we will return to the initial meeting point, completing this immersive experience on the island of Amorgos, approximately 7.5 hours after our journey began.
