Full Day Tour of Terceira Island

Your adventure begins at 10 am with a pickup at your selected location in Angra do Heroísmo, where we will embark on an exploration of Terceira Island and its key highlights.

As we travel, we'll cross the impressive Mount Brasil, which towers over 200 meters (approximately 656.2 feet) above sea level and serves as a cherished nature reserve showcasing remarkable biodiversity.

Our journey continues along the eastern coast, stopping at the viewpoint of Porto Judeu. Here, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Cabras islet, along with a visit to the Forts of São Sebastião: a significant historical site for the island's heritage. Next, we will head to the well-known viewpoint at Serra do Cume, where the iconic "patchwork quilt" landscape awaits.

The trip will then take us to the quaint town of Praia da Vitória. You will have an hour to enjoy lunch and explore the charming streets. In the afternoon, we will venture to the northern coast to visit the natural pools of Biscoitos, a unique setting where the Atlantic waters meet volcanic formations.

Afterward, we will discover a secluded area nestled within the mountainous forest, followed by a cheese tasting at the oldest cheese dairy on the island. Lastly, we'll make a stop at the fishing village of São Mateus, where you can immerse yourself in local culture and the traditional fishing practices.

Your tour will conclude around 5 pm, returning you to the starting point.
