Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Arraial d’Ajuda, followed by a drive covering 130 km (80 mi) to the Caraíva River. This scenic ride takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Upon arrival, we’ll board a canoe that will take us to areas inaccessible by land. This brief five-minute excursion allows you to drift along the river, enjoying the serene movement of the water, the glimmering surface, and the peaceful ambiance punctuated only by the rhythmic strokes of the paddles.

Before long, we will reach Caraíva, a charming coastal village where the pace of life appears to pause. After disembarking from the canoe, we’ll stroll towards Caraíva Beach. Here, you’ll enjoy four hours of leisure to unwind at the ocean's edge, feel the inviting breeze, and wander along the sand where the river converges with the Atlantic.

We encourage you to explore the vibrant village, characterized by its colorful, traditional houses. When it’s time for a meal, local eateries offer a delightful taste of the region, and a visit to the main square reveals a small church that echoes tales of fisherman and vibrant local traditions. At the end of your exploration, we will reconvene for the return journey to your hotel, concluding our day approximately nine hours after our initial pick-up.
