Day 1: Arriving at Lake Nasser from Aswan

Your adventure commences at 10 am on day one, when you will be collected from your hotel in Aswan. We will head towards the scenic shores of Lake Nasser, where your cruise vessel is ready for boarding. Once you embark, settle in and enjoy lunch on board, followed by an afternoon dedicated to savoring the spectacular views of the renowned Aswan Dam from the ship's deck.

Day 2: Exploring Lake Nasser

Kickstart your day with a satisfying breakfast at the ship’s restaurant before returning to land, specifically to the island housing the Temple of Kalabsha. Here, you will delve into an extensive array of archaeological treasures, with the Temple of Qertassi standing out as it is believed to be dedicated to the mysterious goddess Isis, one of ancient Egypt's most enigmatic deities. After this insightful visit, we will have lunch aboard the boat and continue our serene voyage on Lake Nasser.

Day 3: Discovery at Lake Nasser

The third day invites you to the historic ruins of Wadi es-Sebua, known as the Valley of the Lions, where we explore the majestic Temples of Dakka and Mahrraqa. This place is steeped in history and its myths create an enthralling atmosphere that you will experience as you stroll through the site. Uncover the fascinating stories behind the revered Egyptian god Thoth, associated with wisdom, writing, and spells. After our explorations, return to the cruise for a nourishing lunch and some relaxation, gearing up for the next leg of our journey.

Day 4: Journey to Abu Simbel

Today, we will navigate further south on Lake Nasser. From the ship, glimpses of the ancient citadel of Qasr Ibrim and the esteemed Temples of Derr and Amada will come into view. The latter is recognized as one of Nubia's oldest temples, founded during Thutmosis III's reign. After lunch on board, we will moor at the spectacular Abu Simbel, famous for the magnificent statues of Pharaoh Ramesses II and his queen Nefertari, which are sure to amaze you with their grand scale. In the evening, indulge in a memorable dinner accompanied by a captivating light and sound show at Abu Simbel, immersing you in the history of this iconic site. We'll then spend one last night close to the impressive statues aboard the ship.

Day 5: Departure from Abu Simbel to Aswan

Following breakfast, we will depart from Lake Nasser and travel by road back to Aswan. Upon arrival, there is an option for drop-off at the airport approximately three hours ahead of your flight's scheduled departure.

Your five-day expedition will be aboard the Nubian Sea or a similar cruise vessel designed for comfort and exploration.

Pricing Information

• The stated price is per individual in a double room or cabin. Solo travelers will incur an additional charge.
• For three-person bookings, a double room will be provided with an extra bed. Separate arrangements for a single-occupancy room will incur a supplemental fee.

Accommodation in Aswan Before the Cruise

Please be aware that pick-ups from hotels in Aswan commence at 10 am. To ensure your timely collection, we recommend staying overnight in Aswan before the cruise. Note that the cost of accommodation for this night is not included in your cruise fare.

If you arrive in Aswan on the same day as the cruise departure, it is likely that you might miss your scheduled pick-up and subsequently the boat.

Seasonal Dates

Please be informed that from December 20 to January 2 (Christmas) and during Easter, cancellations will not be eligible for a refund.

Pickup Details

Transfers for this experience are available from hotels, hostels, and apartments located in Aswan.

If your accommodation is situated on the following islands in Aswan, please note the designated pick-up locations:

• For settings on West Aswan Island (Gharb Aswan): we will meet at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.
• For stays in Elephantine Island (Guizirit Alfantin): the pick-up will be at the KFC restaurant on Kornish Al Nile or the Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.
• For guests on Suhil Island (Guizirit Suhil): we will pick up at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.

Guests whose accommodations are not located downtown or on the aforementioned islands should proceed to one of the specified meeting points.
