Visiting Hours
The Acropolis welcomes visitors during the following hours:
- April 1st to October 31st: 8 am to 6 pm
- November 1st to March 31st: 8 am to 5 pm
The final entry is permitted one hour prior to closing, although it’s important to note that these hours are subject to change. Tickets for the Acropolis can only be used on the selected date and time chosen at the time of booking.
The Acropolis Museum
Your entry ticket provides access to the Acropolis Museum, where you can view sculptural art, fragments of reliefs, and other original artifacts from the Parthenon and adjacent structures.
This museum is also home to the Caryatids, the unique female columns originally from the Erechtheum. The genuine pieces have been moved to the museum to prevent deterioration, with reproductions displayed outdoors. You'll uncover such intriguing facts through the museum's informative displays.
Acropolis Museum Visiting Hours
Visitors can explore the Acropolis Museum during the following times:
- April 1st to October 31st: 9 am - 5 pm on Mondays; 9 am - 8 pm from Tuesday to Thursday and Sundays; 9 am - 10 pm on Fridays.
- November 1st to March 31st: 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Thursday; 9 am - 10 pm on Fridays; 9 am - 8 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Please be aware that these hours can change. Your Acropolis Museum ticket can be redeemed any day within the operational hours that suit you.
Essential Information
- The date and/or time slot for your visit cannot be modified.
- This ticket option is only valid for regular adult admission and is applicable for all ages at full price.
- As of April 1, 2025, EU citizens under 25 and non-EU citizens under 18 will receive free entry upon presenting their ID at the ticket counter.
- Individuals aged 65 and over can enjoy a discount of 50%. This can be applied either at the ticket office or through the website.
- As access is organized in time slots, availability of complimentary tickets at the box office cannot be guaranteed for your chosen timing.
- Entry is allowed solely during the stipulated time slot or within a 15-minute window before or after.
- Individuals with disabilities may enter free of charge when presenting their disability certificate at the ticket counter.

You can redeem your Acropolis Museum ticket any day that suits your schedule, within opening hours.
However, please note that you'll only be able to enter the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum once.

As the opening times of both sites are flexible, we recommend that you check them directly on the official website before visiting, as they are subject to change:
Acropolis of Athens: Generally, from April 1st to October 31st between 8 am and 6 pm, and from November 1st to March 31st between 8 am and 5 pm.

- The travel date and/or entry time slot cannot be changed for any reason.
- This offer only includes normal admission at adult price and can be used by people of all ages to enter at full price.
- From 1 April 2025, EU citizens under 25 and non-EU citizens under 18 will be able to enter free of charge on presentation of their ID at the ticket office.
- For those over 65, a 50% discount will be granted. This discount will only be applied at the ticket office or on the website.
- As the monument operates in time slots, there is no guarantee that free tickets will be available at the ticket office for the time slot of your choice.

Closing of Monuments
Please note that the monuments will be closed due to a holiday in Greece on the following dates: January 1, March 25, April 12, May 1, December 25, and December 26.
