Description
Are you currently in Barcelona and seeking an opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Costa Brava? This day trip to Girona, Figueras, and Cadaqués is a chance not to be missed for those looking to explore essential sites in Catalonia!
Details of the Day Trip
Your adventure begins at the specified time in Plaza d'Anna Lizaran in Barcelona. From here, we will board a coach that will take us on an exciting journey to Girona, Figueras, and Cadaqués.
The first destination is Girona, renowned for its remarkably preserved historic center. Here, you will explore the delightful Jewish quarter, which is celebrated as one of the finest examples of its kind in Europe.
Following a 1.5-hour guided exploration of Girona, you will have an additional 30 minutes for personal discovery within the city. After gathering back together, we will proceed to Figueras, a key transportation nexus bridging Spain and France.
In Figueras, you will have approximately 1.5 hours to indulge in the local cuisine of Alt Empordà or wander around and take in the sights at your own pace.
Next, we head to Cadaqués, recognized as one of the most picturesque villages along the Costa Brava. This enchanting fishing enclave, with its iconic whitewashed buildings amid sea and mountain vistas, will undoubtedly capture your heart. Upon arrival, we will stroll through its winding streets, leading us to the church of Santa Maria.
Finally, we will return to our original meeting point in Barcelona, concluding a memorable journey after a total of 11 hours.
Admission to the Dalí Museum
If you choose, during your reservation, you can opt for a day trip that includes admission to the Dalí Museum. This option allows you access to this remarkable establishment situated over the remnants of the old theater, which showcases the largest collection of Salvador Dalí's artwork.
The visit to the museum will take around 45 to 60 minutes. Your guide will accompany you, providing a brief guided tour lasting about 15 to 20 minutes. The remaining time is yours to enjoy the exhibits at your leisure and potentially savor some local dishes.
