How It Works

During the booking process, prior selection of attractions isn't necessary. You have the flexibility to decide on your choices once in Barcelona.

Kindly be aware that certain attractions may require prior reservations. After your purchase, a link will be provided for any necessary bookings.

The Barcelona Essentials Pass grants one-time access to each of the 3 selected attractions. While a start date is needed at the time of booking, the pass can be utilized within 1 year post-purchase.

The pass activates upon your inaugural visit and remains valid for 30 days after activation.

How It Works

During the reservation process, you'll need to select whether you wish to access 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 attractions. Note that each attraction can be visited only once.

Although a start date is required at the time of booking, the benefits of the Barcelona Explorer Pass can be enjoyed for 12 months from the purchase date. The pass becomes active when you visit your first attraction. At each location, simply display the QR codes received via email on your phone. The pass will remain valid for 30 days post-activation.

Children Under 4

Children's tickets for both the Essentials and Explorer passes target kids aged 4 to 12. Generally, most attractions offer free admission for children below the age of 4. We recommend checking each attraction's website for specific details.

Go City: Barcelona Essentials Pass

This booking confirmation is not a ticket and cannot be exchanged for physical tickets or used to access attractions directly.
Your confirmation email will include an attached PDF. Please check that the file contains the passes you purchased, each with a unique QR code per user. If you don't receive the PDF, you can contact us through our web contact form.

Downloading the electronic pass will not activate it. To use your pass, simply present the QR code from your electronic pass at the entrance of each attraction. Please save the mobile-friendly PDF so you can easily open and show it on your phone to access the attractions.

Prior Reservation of Included Attractions

Local public holidays may affect the opening of some attractions included in the pass. Closures due to public holidays will not be grounds for a partial or full refund.

Pass Validity

The Go City: Barcelona Essentials Pass gives you one-time access to each of the 3 attractions you choose. Although a start date is required at the time of booking, you can use the pass within one year of purchase.

The pass activates on your first visit and expires 30 days after activation.

Children Under 3

Children under 3 don't need a pass, as they can access all attractions and viewpoints for free.

Go City: Barcelona Explorer Pass

This booking confirmation isn't a valid ticket and cannot be exchanged for physical tickets or used to access Barcelona's tourist attractions.

In your confirmation email, you'll find an attached PDF file. You must check that the file contains the passes purchased with a unique QR code for each user. If you do not receive the PDF within 72 hours, please contact us at: https://www.civitatis.com/en/contact/

Downloading the electronic pass won't activate it. In order to use your tourist pass, you must present the QR code that appears on your e-pass at the entrance to the attractions.

It's therefore important that the PDF you save with the QR codes is compatible with your mobile phones so that you can open it easily and display it on your device when you enter the attractions.

The Go City: Barcelona Explorer Pass offers you complete flexibility: you can decide as you go which of the included attractions you'll take advantage of during your stay in Barcelona. You'll have free access to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 attractions in the city, depending on the option selected.

The Go City: Barcelona Explorer Pass gives you one-time access to each attraction and is valid for a determined 30 days from when it's activated. Local public holidays may affect the opening times of some of the attractions included in the pass. Public holiday closures won't be grounds for a full or partial refund of the pass price.

Although a start date is requested at the time of booking, you may use the pass for 12 months from the date of booking.
