Guided Exploration
We'll convene at Barcelona's Estació del Nord at the specified time and depart toward the historic city of Girona, reaching our destination in about 1.5 hours.
Upon arrival, you'll receive your ticket for the Girona Cathedral and the Basilica of Sant Feliú, granting you the freedom to discover the city at your leisure. Notably, scenes from the sixth season of Game of Thrones were shot right here.
Your journey will take you through the old town (Barri Vell), where you can uncover over 2,000 years of history, spanning from its Roman foundations exemplified by the Força Vella to its medieval development. The baroque façade and steps of the Girona Cathedral—transformed into the Great Sept of Baelor in the series—await your admiration.
After the cathedral visit, step into the Basilica of Sant Feliu to appreciate its religious artistry. We suggest taking a stroll by the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants and delving into the Call, renowned as one of Europe’s most well-preserved Jewish quarters, filled with winding medieval pathways.
Enjoy some free time in Girona to leisurely walk, savor local cuisine, and further explore the city. Later, we will regroup in the city center to head back to Barcelona, with an estimated return 9 hours after pickup.
