Your journey will commence with a pickup from your accommodation in Barichara, followed by a scenic 1.5-hour drive through the enchanting Santander region. Our ultimate destination is the captivating Juan Curi Ecological Park, where you’ll encounter a mesmerizing untamed forest. Are you ready to embark on this unforgettable adventure?

Kicking off the day, we will engage in a 1-kilometre (0.6 mile) trek. As we venture along the path that winds through the sub-Andean rainforest, you’ll have the opportunity to admire hanging mosses and other native plant species, including the striking bromeliads that flourish on tree bark!

As we ascend through this vibrant ecosystem, we’ll discover small waterfalls, embodying the spirit of true explorers. Our journey will lead us to the majestic Juan Curi waterfall, which towers at over 200 metres (656 feet). Enjoy the breathtaking views from this impressive spot.

You will have an hour to unwind by the waterfall, providing a perfect moment to refresh yourself with a swim or simply relax amidst the beauty of nature. This experience is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Our adventure will continue to Paramo, one of Santander's most picturesque towns. Here, we’ll explore the Virgen de la Salud sanctuary before proceeding to San Gil, where a delightful meal awaits at a traditional restaurant.

The tour concludes back in Barichara after approximately 6-7 hours of immersive experiences.
