Embark on a breathtaking journey through the majestic Andes, traversing international borders and cruising on the serene waters of Nahuel Huapi, Frías, and Todos los Santos with this remarkable 12-hour expedition.
Andean Lakes Cruise
At the designated time, we will convene at your chosen meeting point to begin our adventure. Boarding our bus, we will leave behind Bariloche and set off towards the Llao Llao Peninsula, located approximately 30 minutes away. Within the heart of this peninsula lies Puerto Pañuelo, marking our first stop on the Andean lakes exploration.
Here, a sleek catamaran awaits to whisk us away on a delightful one-hour boat ride. Throughout this journey, you will discover the lake’s glacial origins and take in the breathtaking Patagonian scenery before we return to our bus.
Approximately 20 minutes later, we will reach Puerto Alegre. Here, we will board another catamaran to glide across the reflective waters of Lake Frías, known for its glacial heritage. We will then proceed onward, crossing into Chile. Welcome to Chile! Our next destination is Villa Peulla, where you will have a well-deserved two-hour break to enjoy a meal.
Rejuvenated and ready to continue, we will board yet another catamaran to navigate the crystal-clear waters of Lake Todos los Santos, offering a breathtaking view of the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park from an exceptional vantage point.
Your adventure can conclude at Petrohué Port, or you can opt to continue with us till the final leg of the journey. During this segment, we will switch from boat to bus while enjoying stunning views of the volcanic peaks of Osorno and Calbuco as we cross the Chilean Andes.
Eventually, we will arrive in the heart of Puerto Varas, concluding this incredible 12-hour experience.
Return to Bariloche
- When booking, please specify whether you prefer a one-way trip or a round trip. If opting for a return journey, indicate your return time to Bariloche.
- Residents of Argentina and Chile are only required to pay for the outbound segment, as the return to Bariloche is complimentary for them.

We'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point: Turisur offices, Hoteles Panamericano, Hotel Edelweiss, Hotel 3 Reyes, Avenida Bustillo km 2,5, or Avenida Bustillo km 7 or Puerto Pañuelo. We'll contact you to confirm the exact time.
Important
Please note: seats are not assigned on the catamarans, you must choose your own.
Suitcases will be stored at the beginning of the activity and can be collected at the end of the tour using the ticket that will be given to you. Please remember to bring your documents in your hand luggage.
Passport requirements
You must send a copy of your passport to checkinargentina@cruceandino.com before 5 pm the day before your activity in order to get your Andean Lakes Crossing ticket. If you do not do this, you will not be able to participate in the activity. If you are participating with children, remember to send their passport information too.
Changes to the schedule
Cruce Andino may delay, cancel or modify the excursion for reasons of force majeure, natural phenomena, security, health measures, etc... In such circumstances, you'll have the following options: change the excursion for the following day (if it is running), do the excursion by land through Paso Cardenal Samore with lunch included or ask for a refund of the activity.
