Trip to Villa Llanquin

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Bariloche at the scheduled time, after which we will venture towards the scenic banks of the Limay River, the site of the quaint village of Villa Llanquín.

To cross the river, we will embark on the La Maroma ferry, making our way to the opposite shore, which lies within the Limay River Natural Protected Area.

Upon our arrival in the village, we will wander through the lovely streets, witnessing the tranquil lifestyle of the local inhabitants. Notably, Villa Llanquín was established merely 80 years ago by a settler who sought to harness the area’s abundant natural resources.

The primary economic activities in this community of the Río Negro province include fishing, livestock, and agriculture. During the visit, we will also explore a charming school, an impressive church, and a welcoming restaurant guesthouse, which will be part of our excursion itinerary.

After approximately 4 hours of discovery, we will return you to your hotel in Bariloche.
