8-Day Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Beirut

Upon arrival at the Beirut airport, you will be greeted and transported to your hotel in the heart of the city.

Day 2: Tyre, Sidon, and Return to Beirut

Following breakfast, the 8-day journey commences. This day begins with a trip to the southern city of Tyre, where we will admire its remarkable Roman, Phoenician, Greek, and Byzantine ruins.

Later in the day, we will head to Sidon (or Saida), exploring its historic castle, the charming old town, local souk, and fishing district.

We will conclude the day's adventures by heading back to our hotel in Beirut.

Day 3: Byblos and Tripoli Exploration

After breakfast, we set off to uncover Byblos and Tripoli, two cities rich in history. In Byblos, experience the ancient Phoenician walls, the Roman theatre, the Crusader Castle, and the San Juan Bautista Church, along with its picturesque harbour.

Later, we will journey to Tripoli, recognized as a vital port city in the region, where sightseeing includes the impressive citadel and its temples, as well as a stroll through its lively souks.

After a day full of historical insights, we return to Beirut.

Day 4: Anjar and Baalbeck Visit

Our day begins with breakfast, followed by a trip to the Bekaa Valley, where we will explore Anjar and its Umayyad ruins while learning about its historical significance in the era of the Sultans.

Next, we will head to Baalbeck to marvel at the spectacular Roman ruins, including the towering temples of Jupiter, Venus, and Bacchus. On our way back to Beirut, we will stop at a renowned Ksara Winery to sample the local wines.

After returning to our Beirut hotel, the evening is yours to unwind.

Day 5: Discovering Deir Kamal and Beit Ed Dine

Post-breakfast, we will journey into the Chouf Region, traversing through its lush mountainous landscapes to reach Deir Kamal, the capital of Mount Lebanon. Here, we will explore its remarkable rock formations, age-old streets, and one of Lebanon's oldest mosques featuring its octagonal minaret.

Our next stop will be Beit Ed Dine to see the exquisite 19th-century palace, once home to the region's governor. After this, we will return to Beirut, where the rest of the evening is free for you to explore the Lebanese capital further. A visit to the National Museum is highly recommended, showcasing artifacts from prehistoric and Byzantine times.

Day 6: Harissa, Jeita, and Fakraa

On the sixth day, we will venture to Harissa, home to the Church of Our Lady of Lebanon, perched atop the mountains. A scenic cable car ride will provide breathtaking views of Junieh Bay.

Next, we will proceed to the Jeita Grotto, a fascinating network of two caves that extend 650 m (2132 ft.) deep, located near the Kahr al-Kalb River (or Dog River). Afterward, we will stop by Fakraa to witness its stunning Phoenician ruins.

At the end of this exciting day, we will head back to our hotel in Beirut.

Day 7: Free Day in Beirut

The seventh day is left to your own devices to wander through Beirut, indulge in shopping, or participate in activities of your interest.

Day 8: Departure from Beirut

After enjoying breakfast, we will take you to the airport for your departure at the scheduled time.
