Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Beirut at 8:30 am. A scenic drive of approximately an hour and a half will lead us through the stunning Lebanese coastline, heading towards the Monastery of Saint Maron in the northern region of the country.

Sitting at about 1200 metres high in the Jbeil area, this rock-hewn monastery is affectionately known as the Cave of the Monks. This religious site is home to the revered tomb of Saint Charbel, making it an essential destination for pilgrims wishing to pay their respects.

Next, we'll visit the Monastery of St. Joseph, which contains the tomb of St. Rafqa, a Maronite nun beatified in 1985. To gain deeper insight into Lebanon’s religious culture, we will also stop at Kfifan to see the Monastery of St. Hardini, which is known for housing the remains of Maronite saint Nimatullah Al-Hardini.

Around 3 pm, we will pause at a local restaurant for a traditional Lebanese meal. Refreshed, we’ll then make our way to Byblos, a stunning highlight of Lebanon.

In Byblos, known as one of the ancient world's oldest cities, we will explore remarkable sites such as the Roman amphitheatre, the temple of obelisks, and the tombs of ancient Phoenician kings. As we wander through the archaeological remains, you will gain insight into the significant history of this vital Middle Eastern location.

To conclude your visit, you'll have an hour of free time to wander the streets of Byblos and its charming craft market, perfect for finding unique local handicrafts.

By approximately 6 pm, we will return to Beirut.
