During your reservation process, you will select from two tour options. Both include hotel pickup at the scheduled time, return transport at the conclusion of the tour, and the guidance of an experienced English-speaking guide.

5-Hour Tour

After picking you up from your accommodation, our journey will commence, taking you around the most significant architectural sites in the Colombian capital.

Our first destination will be the Centro Internacional de Bogotá. Here, we will appreciate one of the city’s earliest major business hubs, a key element in Bogotá's transition from a modest settlement to a lively capital.

Next, we will venture into the La Candelaria district, established in the 16th century. We will stroll along its historic streets, admiring notable churches like San Ignacio and Santa Clara, and significant mansions such as the Casa del Virrey. Additionally, we will visit the Plaza de Bolívar, taking in the French architectural details of buildings including the City Hall.

Following this, we’ll embark on a panoramic exploration of the Santafé neighborhoods, characterized by a blend of architectural styles that encompass Austrian, Art Deco, and German influences. We’ll also visit the distinguished residences in La Merced and the colorful Macarena neighborhood, ideal for capturing memorable photographs!

Throughout the tour, we will examine the transition from Spanish influences to Anglo-Saxon design by traversing the Teusaquillo and La Magdalena neighborhoods. We'll delve into the migration waves that impacted Bogotá in the mid-20th century, culminating in sites like the Simón Bolívar Central Park and the Virgilio Barco Library.

Our exploration will then take us to Ciudad Salitre, including a brief visit to the Santa Barbara hacienda. Our tour concludes at the Usaquén flea market, where you can enjoy thirty minutes for lunch before we bring you back to your hotel, finishing after five enriching hours.

10-Hour Tour

If you're looking for an extended experience, our 10-hour option is perfect for you. We will follow the same itinerary as the 5-hour tour but will dedicate more time to exploring the historical context of the structures we encounter.

Moreover, in the afternoon, we’ll have the opportunity to visit the neighborhoods of Santa Ana and Santa Barbara, discussing how the assassination of political figure Jorge Eliecer Gaitan reshaped urban development in Bogotá. Our journey will conclude with stops at Parque de la 93, Zona Rosa, and various scenic viewpoints.

Finally, we will end the day by returning you to your accommodation.
