The San Luca Express initiates its route from the Piazza del Nettuno. At your convenience, you can board the train, find a comfortable seat, and prepare for departure!

In about 40 minutes, you will journey along the scenic path that links Bologna's historic center to the Sanctuary of the Madonna of San Luca.

Throughout the ride, you will have the opportunity to glimpse the world's longest portico, which stretches between the Bonaccorsi Arch and the church. Remarkably, this renowned structure is adorned with over 600 arches.

Upon arrival at the sanctuary, you can disembark to explore this significant pilgrimage destination at your leisure. Marvel at its striking architecture, wander the surrounding area, and take in the stunning views of Bologna from the hillside.

Return to the city center at your preferred time using the sightseeing train.
