After a leisurely traditional lunch, we will cross the Don Luis I Bridge to explore Vila Nova de Gaia, famous for its Port cellars, where a guided tasting awaits us. Next, enjoy a scenic boat ride along the six bridges of the Douro River, concluding the day with tastings of local Porto wines.

This tour offers two types of optional wine tastings:

• Standard tasting: Features Douro and Port wines. Costs: 15EUR for adults, complimentary for children under 4 years.

• Regional rustic lunch with wine: 35EUR for adults, free for children under 4. Enjoy a rustic meal paired with Douro wines at family-run restaurants.

A cultural package is also available for 50EUR for adults, 32.50EUR for children aged 4 to 12, and free for those under 4. This includes a boat trip on the six bridges, as well as guided tours of the Cathedral of Porto and the Stock Exchange Palace.

Additionally, a family package is offered at 35EUR, free for children under 3, including admission and a guided tour of an interactive museum for children, along with the WOW complex in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Peneda-Gerês National Park (9 hours)

This tour takes us to the captivating Peneda-Gerês National Park, where we will walk past waterfalls and streams, visit the Interpretation Museum, and ride through the scenic landscape in a horse-drawn carriage. A traditional lunch at a local eatery is also included. As a highlight, we will stop at the Sanctuary of San Bento, one of Portugal's prominent pilgrimage sites, and conclude with tastings of local delicacies.

Douro Region Tour (9.5 hours)

We'll depart at 8:30 am to journey into the beautiful Douro region, relishing views of vineyards and forests. Our first stop will be at a local winery, where experts will guide us through the winemaking process, followed by a tasting session. We will then indulge in a scenic ride on a Rabelo boat along the Douro River before enjoying a delightful lunch at a wine-producing estate, concluding with another winery visit and tasting experience.

Coimbra & Aveiro Expedition (10 hours)

This trip takes us to the historic University of Coimbra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest university in Portugal. Witness traditional student attire as we explore the city’s historical center and marvel at the Romanesque cathedral.

After lunch in Coimbra, we head to Aveiro, where a traditional Moliceiro boat ride lasting 45 minutes awaits, allowing us to appreciate the charm of the 'Portuguese Venice'. Don’t forget to capture photos by the vibrant striped houses once we disembark.

A cultural package is also available for 35EUR for adults, free for children under 3. This package includes entrance to key sites within the University of Coimbra, such as the chapel of São Miguel and the Joanina Library, along with access to the Monastery of Santa Cruz and the Sé Velha.

Alternatively, consider a family package for 35EUR for adults, 17.50EUR for children aged 3 to 12, and free for those under 3, which includes a visit to the child-friendly museum “Portugal dos Pequenitos” and a tour of a local “ovos moles” factory.

Santiago de Compostela & Valença do Minho Experience (10 hours)

During this excursion, we travel to the prestigious pilgrimage site of Santiago de Compostela. On arrival, you will have leisure time to explore the magnificent cathedral that boasts Gothic, Romanesque, and Baroque architecture, including noteworthy porticoes and altarpieces, along with the famous botafumeiro.

Post lunch, enjoy traditional dishes featuring local ingredients, including the popular padrón peppers. Then we will venture back into Portugal to visit Valença do Minho, a medieval fortified town that promises to enchant with its beauty, and where we will sample some delicious local specialties.

Braga & Guimaraes Tour (8 hours)

This private tour begins in Braga, a city rich in over two millennia of history. Stroll along Rua do Souto, a lively shopping area, before visiting the Garden of Santa Barbara. The Braga Cathedral, the oldest in Portugal, will be one of our key stops before we proceed to the renowned Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte. A delightful lunch at a local establishment follows, offering a generous meal including a starter, soup, main course, drink, dessert, and coffee.

Reenergized, we will proceed to Guimaraes, regarded as the birthplace of the nation! Here, we will tour its castle and the Church of São Miguel do Castelo, concluding our visit with a look at the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza.

As an alternative, you may opt for a standard tuk tuk tour at 25EUR for adults and free for children under 4, or a private tuk tuk tour for 150EUR which accommodates up to 4 individuals.

Barcelos, Ponte de Lima & Viana do Castelo (9 hours)

Our tour begins in the historical heart of Barcelos, where we’ll spot its 14th-century bridge and delve into the local legend of the Rooster of Barcelos, a symbol of Portugal. Experience local sweets and the culinary traditions that accompany them. The lush greenery of the Vinho Verde region takes us to Ponte de Lima, the country’s oldest town.
