Gaucho Cowboy Cookout
Description
Traditional barbecue, pastries, horse rides, folk shows, and equestrian displays. All the essential ingredients for a Gaucho cookout, making it a must-do experience from Buenos Aires.
Gaucho Cowboy Cookout
After meeting in Buenos Aires, you'll leave the city and travel deep into one of the most traditional areas of the Pampa region. Here, you'll find ‘Santa Susana Ranch’, the ideal setting for an authentic gaucho celebration.
Upon arrival at the ranch, you'll be welcomed with typical empanadas alongside Argentinian wine and soft drinks. You'll then have the chance to visit significant attractions within Santa Susana, such as the old founders' house, offering a glimpse into the past.
Your experience continues with a ride on a horse-drawn cart to explore the ranch and its surroundings, followed by a delicious Argentinian barbecue featuring salad and an open bar.
After the meal, immerse yourself in a traditional folk show. You'll have the chance to participate in one of the gauchos' favorite games, the carrera de sortijas—a fun activity resembling miniature jousting, where the goal is to catch a small hanging ring at top speed. It's an experience that truly showcases gaucho culture.
Finally, you'll return to Buenos Aires, concluding the excursion.
