Day Trip Overview

At the designated meeting time, gather at the Reef Fleet cruise terminal for the boarding of our catamaran. Departing from Cairns, we will navigate the stunning waters of the Tasman Sea, heading towards one of Australia’s greatest natural wonders: the majestic Great Barrier Reef. This promises to be a memorable adventure!

Upon arrival, you will be captivated by the vibrant turquoise hues of the surrounding waters. Did you realize that this is the largest coral reef system in the world? It serves as a remarkable habitat teeming with diverse marine life.

We will anchor at the Great Barrier Reef, also known as Reef Magic, for five hours, giving you ample opportunity to dive into the refreshing waters for a swim or try your hand at snorkeling. From the comfort of the catamaran's glass bottom, you can observe the exotic marine fauna or simply relax under the sun. Look forward to encountering a wealth of tropical fish, coral formations, sea turtles, and many intriguing surprises!

As the morning excitement winds down, we will feast on a sumptuous buffet lunch onboard, featuring a selection of delightful Australian cuisine.

To conclude our adventure, we will set sail back to Cairns after an engaging 8-hour day filled with exploration.

Essential Information

Be aware that the boat departs promptly at 9 am, with boarding taking place between 8:15 and 8:50 am. Arriving later than 8:50 am will unfortunately mean you cannot board the vessel.
