Following your hotel pickup in Cancun, we will embark on our journey towards the renowned Bacalar Lagoon, celebrated for its stunning array of water hues. During our bus ride, you will be treated to a light breakfast to fuel your daytime exploration.

Upon arriving in the charming town of Bacalar, we will make our way to the lake's shoreline, where a boat awaits to take us on a tranquil cruise. This experience will offer you an opportunity to admire the vibrant water colors up close.

You will have some time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake, and you'll also have the chance to explore the nearby cenotes of Negro, Cocalito, and Perla. Close by, you can marvel at the unique stromatolites of Bacalar, these fascinating rock formations adorned with living bacteria that resemble coral reefs beneath the water.

Next, we will stroll through the heart of Bacalar, where a delicious lunch featuring local specialties awaits you. After our meal, we will continue with a guided tour of the town center, highlighting monuments such as the impressive San Felipe Fortress.

As the day draws to a close, we will return to Cancun, conveniently dropping you off at your hotel.

Changes to the Tour

On Wednesdays, maintenance will take place on the tour boat. Consequently, the itinerary will change slightly. Instead, we will visit the cenotes of Esmeralda, Negro, and Cocalitos, followed by a trip to Pájaros Island and the Canal de los Piratas, and finally, we will conclude with a visit to Bacalar Lagoon.
