Boat Ride Details

At the agreed time, the meeting point is at the Catania Port, where the captain and crew will be ready on a luxurious sailboat. After embarking, you'll be welcomed with an apéritif featuring soft drinks, olives, and cured meats. The adventure begins!

We will sail along the renowned Riviera dei Ciclopi, a coastal stretch that extends from Aci Castello to Acireale, famous for its ancient volcanic eruptions and mythological stories.

From the boat, you can admire the stunning formations of solidified lava while enjoying the sea breeze from the Ionian Sea and learning the basics of sailboat riding. This coastline is intertwined with The Adventures of Ulysses.

During the excursion, we will arrive at the Grotte di Ulisse, located near Ognina. Here, we will anchor in a sheltered bay, ideal for a refreshing swim. You will have access to snorkeling equipment, paddle surfboards, and mats to relax while exploring the Sicilian underwater world.

Once back on board, a Sicilian lunch served on deck with music will be provided. The menu features a starter and a main dish crafted from local products, accompanied by water and regional wine.

Finally, we will start our return journey to Catania, concluding the tour after 3 hours of sailing, and bidding farewell at the departure pier.
