Activity Overview

Your journey begins at one of the docks in the Yuzhong district. As we embark on our cruise, prepare to witness the enchanting skyline of Chongqing illuminating the meeting point of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. Are you ready to embark on this nighttime adventure?

Before long, Hongyadong will come into view, dramatically perched on the river's edge, reminiscent of a fairytale. This unique complex features vertical constructions inspired by traditional diaojiaolou architecture, recreating the charm of historic commercial areas that were elevated to avoid flooding.

Our vessel will navigate beneath the Qiansimen Bridge, a crucial connector across the city's different elevations. Enjoy the perspective from the water, highlighting why Chongqing is famously known as the city of mountains. The natural landscape dictates the layout, resulting in a city where skyscrapers rise along the hills. Soon, the striking Chongqing Grand Theater will appear before you.

We will also pass by Raffles City, which transforms the urban skyline with its towering structures, including the renowned Crystal bridge that gracefully spans over 300 m (984 ft) between the buildings.

As we approach Chaotianmen Bridge, we will be sailing over the historic junction of the Yangtze and Jialing, a significant location in river commerce for centuries.

Continuing our journey, the outline of Longmenhao Old Street will evoke memories of Chongqing's maritime heritage. This area showcases a harmonious blend of classic wooden buildings, gray brick facades, and tiled rooftops.

To conclude our 45-minute cruise, we’ll pass by Nanbin Road and return to our original dock.
