Tour Highlights

Day 1: Arrival in Guatemala City

Upon landing in Guatemala City, our team will welcome you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Depending on when you arrive, you can either take some time to explore the city or relax after your travels.

Day 2: Guatemala City to Chichicastenango

Following breakfast, we'll set off on a bus or minibus ride to Chichicastenango. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the indigenous market, showcasing a diverse selection of items including traditional fabrics, pottery, and local delicacies.

Next on the agenda is a visit to the remarkable Church of Santo Tomás, which reflects the blend of Catholic beliefs with the rich heritage of the Mayan civilization. You'll have some free time afterward to enjoy lunch and explore Chichicastenango at your own pace.

As the day comes to a close, we will reconvene for the transfer to your accommodation in Chichicastenango, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Chichicastenango to Lake Atitlán

After breakfast, we will journey towards the picturesque Lake Atitlán. Enjoy a scenic boat ride to San Juan de la Laguna, known for its vibrant textiles and artisanal crafts. After some free time for lunch at your leisure, we will proceed to your hotel in the Lake Atitlán area.

Day 4: Lake Atitlán to Antigua Guatemala

After enjoying your breakfast, we will depart from Lake Atitlán and travel to Antigua Guatemala. Here, you will participate in a comprehensive tour that introduces you to the city’s key attractions.

Your itinerary will include the iconic Cathedral of San Jose, the ornate Church of La Merced, the lively central park, and the historic La Union tank washhouses. The remainder of the day is yours to explore, shop, dine, or simply unwind – the choice is yours!

In the evening, we will regroup for the return journey to Guatemala City, where you will spend the night.

Day 5: Departure from Guatemala City

As our 5-day exploration of Guatemala concludes, we will transport you from your hotel in Guatemala City to La Aurora Airport, ensuring you have ample time to prepare for your flight. Wishing you safe travels!
