4-hour tour

Your adventure begins upon meeting in a central location or at your hotel, setting off on a walking tour of what was once the Incan capital centuries ago. This private experience allows you to uncover the coexistence of pre-colonial heritage with the architectural influences brought by the Spaniards.

During the tour, we will pause at several notable sites to appreciate the exteriors of Cusco’s landmark buildings. Remember, this is your private tour, so if something piques your interest and you wish to explore further, we can accommodate your request!

Our initial stop will be at the Church of San Cristobal, located in the square bearing the same name. Here, with the stunning view of the imperial city, you will see why this is regarded as the finest viewpoint in Cusco.

Next, we will venture to the Central Market of San Pedro, where you can immerse yourself in the daily activities of Cusco’s residents. From food stalls and fresh produce to exotic goods sourced from the Amazon, we will delve into this vibrant market to discover the area’s staple products.

Wandering through Cusco feels akin to navigating an expansive open-air museum, and our following destination exemplifies this. The Inca temple of Coricancha, known as the "Golden Temple" in Quechua, stands out as one of the most remarkable structures in the city. While its golden walls no longer shimmer like in ancient times, the temple still radiates magnificence. A church and convent dedicated to Santo Domingo now rest atop this historic site, which also hosts a museum featuring Incan artifacts unearthed during archaeological studies.

Continuing our ascent, we will explore the majestic Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a stunning testament to Incan military engineering. Afterwards, we will deepen our understanding of Inca architecture with a visit to the archaeological site of Q'enko.

We will conclude our tour with a return to the vibrant Plaza de Armas, where we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, a prominent repository of colonial art in the area. This marks the end of our enriching 4-hour journey, where you will leave with a greater awareness of this historic city.

Following a deeper dive into the pre-Columbian heritage, we’ll have the chance to explore the artsy district of San Blas, observe the distinctive Twelve-Angled Stone, and visit the viewpoint of the White Christ. The itinerary is customizable based on your preferences!

Additionally, you will have an hour and a half to enjoy lunch at a spot of your choosing.
