Your adventure begins at 10 am when we will pick you up from your accommodation in Dambulla for a short 30-minute drive to Habarana. Upon arrival, we will commence our exploration of Habarana, providing you with a unique glimpse into the customs and routines of the local community.

In this vibrant area, the predominant mode of transport is the ox-drawn cart. You will have the opportunity to hop on one of these traditional vehicles as we journey to the picturesque Lake Habarana.

Upon reaching the lake, you will embark on a leisurely boat ride, allowing you to admire the lush flora and fauna that thrive in this tranquil environment. Subsequently, we will land near a rice field, where you will gain insights into the essential role that rice farming plays in Sri Lankan culture and enjoy a walk through the verdant rice paddies.

Prepare your taste buds! Our next destination will be the welcoming home of a local family, who will guide us in the preparation of traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Afterward, we will indulge in our culinary creations and enjoy a sumptuous buffet featuring rice, curry, fish, salad, and crispy papadam.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Dambulla, with an expected arrival time of 1:30 pm.
