Paragliding in the Swiss Alps

Paragliding Above the Swiss Alps

We will gather at the designated location along Brämabüelstrasse, adjacent to the Davos-Platz station. From there, a scenic cable car ride will take us to the summit of the breathtaking Jakobshorn mountain, which stands at an impressive 8500 feet above sea level.

Upon reaching the peak, we will be greeted with stunning panoramic views and partake in a short training session to prepare for our upcoming activity. Once equipped with harnesses, helmets, and other necessary gear, we will embark on an exhilarating paragliding flight above the Swiss Alps.

A certified instructor will guide us throughout the journey, which will last anywhere between 15 to 35 minutes, depending on the wind conditions. During our flight, we will soar over the magnificent Jakobshorn mountain, which is a prominent massif in the canton of Graubünden, located in eastern Switzerland near the borders of Liechtenstein, Austria, and Italy.

As we glide through the air, we will also catch sight of other prominent mountains in the Swiss Alps nearby. The slopes of these massifs are adorned with picturesque alpine scenery, transforming from lush green in the spring and summer to a blanket of white in the autumn and winter.

We will finish our experience with a parachute landing at the Bolgen field. Following the landing, we will make our way back on foot to the initial meeting point, which is conveniently located just a short distance away.
