At the predetermined time, our team will meet you at your accommodation in Chaves and transfer you in a 4x4 vehicle.

Your journey will commence at Chaves Castle, where you will delve into the rich narrative of this historic medieval stronghold. The city boasts more remnants from that era, including the imposing forts of São Francisco and São Neutel, which reveal their intriguing histories.

The exploration continues with a visit to Chaves’ renowned stone bridge spanning the Tâmega River. You may be fascinated to learn that Trajan, the first Hispanic emperor, commissioned this pedestrian bridge. Our route will also take us to the notable kilometre 0, where you’ll uncover the relevance of this remarkable spot!

We will then return to Chaves to experience the town’s renowned Roman thermal baths. After three engaging hours, the tour will conclude with your return to the hotel.
